Commissions
Currently: [Open / Waitlist / Closed — pick one. Per commissions-page-scaffold.md §1 + Phase-A discipline: default to Closed until slot capacity is real. Stale status = lost leads.]
[ONE-LINE FRAMING — single sentence telling visitors what you make on commission. Different register from About’s “What I’m available for” — this is the commission-pitch line. Examples: “Hand-illustrated narrative-character commissions — fantasy, sci-fi, and the worlds between.” / “Commissions for your character, your world, your scene — drawn entirely by hand in Krita.” Pick one that sounds like you. See research/ToDo/commissions-page-scaffold.md §2.]

Process
Stage 1 — Structure sketch
[STAGE 1 — describe what you send: 1-2 structure sketches (composition + pose + masses + light tonal indication, no rendering). Revisions on composition / pose / character design (typical: 2). Major changes (e.g. swap character) = restart, may incur new commission. See research/ToDo/commissions-page-scaffold.md §4.]
Stage 2 — Underpainting
[STAGE 2 — describe the underpainting / color block-in deliverable: value + color block-in over the structure sketch, mood and lighting committed, still loose. Revisions on value / palette / lighting (typical: 2). This stage is the point of no return — after approval, composition / palette / lighting changes are not included.]
Stage 3 — Final render
[STAGE 3 — describe the final render: detailing, edges, finishes, polish pass. Final revision pass (typical: 1 minor) on small details + finishing tweaks. Structural changes (lighting direction overhaul, palette overhaul, recomposition) NOT included at this stage; would be a separate commission.]
[TIMELINE NOTE — typical turnaround per tier, e.g. “Bust: 1-2 weeks from Stage-1 approval; Full illustration: 3-6 weeks; Group: 6-10 weeks.” Adjust based on real experience over time.]
How to commission
[INTRO — short paragraph: during the current phase, commissions are handled via third-party platforms. Each platform has its own terms of service that govern the commission process; submitting an inquiry on a platform indicates you’ve reviewed that platform’s terms. Pick the one that fits the work.]
[OPTIONAL — one-line note: for press, project inquiries, or B2B (book covers, editorial), use the Contact form instead.]
